Welcome to my website! I have been doing photography on and off for about 10 years. I am more involved now since I joined the Orlando Camera Club. I am doing many different types of photography. I hope you enjoy viewing each of my galleries and please leave your comments.

Rollins College : Last week, Thursday I was fortunate to be at Rollin's College learning to take architecture images with my friend Susan Germyn. This is my first foray into this type of photography. Susan is a very good teacher but I have a lot to learn so please enjoy and leave any comments you wish. You can contact Susan at photoclasses@harmonphoto.com. From looking at these I would like to try again working with different lighting and paying more attention to angles.

Shoot the Light - 2008 : January-2008. I recently had the opportunity to go to Kalispell, Montana (Triple-D Game Farm) to do a captive cat shoot and workshop with Chas Glatzer. (www.shootthelight.com). Had a great time and learned a lot. I recommend Chas. He is excellent. While I am proud of these images I did find I have a lot to learn about photography. The weather was typical Montana (-10 degrees to +20), being from Florida I do not comprehend weather that cold. Enjoy and I would appreciate any feedback.

Christmas-North Carolina 2007 : We spent Christmas wit Deborah, Mike and Cade and Max in North Carolina. Had lots of fun as always. A visit to Leonard Bearstein and friends, waiting for Santa, bath time and just hanging around. Uncle David was visiting from Atlanta...good to see him.

New Mexico Thanksgiving 2007 : This Thanksgiving I went with Jim to New Mexico to photograph the Sandhill Cranes and other birds in the Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge. While this is not usually my idea of a vacation I had the opportunity to meet a lot of the "photogs" he shoots with from time to time. I really had a great time. We had Thanksgiving with other photographers at the Luna Mansion , an old house -now resturant and attended a wedding of friends of Jim's. Enjoy! Atlanta-October 2007 : We arrived in Atlanta on Monday afternoon, October 15. Spent the afternoon with Rachel and Kim. We palyed in the backyard. Tuesday we had a lazy day. Grandma and Grandpa watched Rachel while Kim went out for awhile in the morning, then we all went to lunch. (Grandpa's new favorite, Jason's Deli). The off to a park to play. Tuesday evening Kim and Marc went out for the evening and we got to watch our sweetheart! Wednesday we went to the Atlanta Aquarium. Had a great time looking at the fishies. Wednesday afternoon was Music Class and Wednesday evening dinner with everyone and Uncle David. We had a great visit!

North Carolina- October 2007 : We left late on Thursday Oct 11 because we were both getting over colds. We figured a few days with our grandchildren, Cade and Max we would feel much better. The first night both kids tried on their Halloween costumes. Grandma took Friday off and Grandpa read to Cade's class and had lunch with Deborah. Saturday was soccer with Cade, (he scored his first goal), and the pumpkin farm. Saturday night Jim went to NASCAR races with Uncle David, (visiting from Atlanta). Sunday we all went to the North Carolina Zoo in Ashboro. Had a wonderful visit! Oops, I forgot Karate on Friday night.

Avian Reconditioning Center-Apopka, Florida : The Avian Reconditioning Center is located in Apopka, Florida. They are a birds of prey reconditioning facility with the main focus being the physical reconditioning of raptors that have been inactive for an extended period of time while recovering from illness or injury. They also use falconry techniques to evaluate a bird's chances for survival in the wild after recovery from an injury and teach nestling birds how to hunt. HAWKS : This gallery is dedicated to my friend the red-shouldered hawk that I visit with at Lake Sylvan Park, Seminole County, Fl. Actually there may be more than one as I think the bigger more plump hawk is the female and the smaller, more slender is the male. I am going to try for some flight images. Should be challenging.

Alaska 2008 : Jim and I were lucky to have gone to Alaska with Chas Glatzer,( Shoot the Light).Incredible to have been within 10 to 15 feet at times of Grizzly Bears fishing for salmon in the streams. We saw otters, seals, and had a chance to some macro photography. Please enjoy and check back from time to time as I post more images.
